Emily 21, level three American Studies and English Literature and Josh 22, level one Chemical Engineering, met at JCs for a free drink on a Friday in October for their first date. Here’s what they had to say afterwards.
Why did you agree to go on a
blind date?
E: For the bants!!
J: Never been on one before and wanted to give it a try.
What were your first impressions?
E: Pleasantly surprised!
J: Friendly if not a little nervous.
Were you attracted to the person?
E: HELL YES
J: Somewhat, she did seem like a really nice girl.
Were there any awkward moments
or silences?
E: Not really…
J: One or two but they didn’t last long.
What was your favourite thing about the person?
E: How easy he was to talk too.
J: She was a laugh.
Were there any turnoffs?
E: No turn offs!
J: None that I can think of.
Out of ten, how would you rate
the date?
E: 9/10
J: It went quite well, so about a 7.
Any chance of seeing each other again?
E: Hope so!
J: Maybe.
