Irish pop-rock trio The Script have returned with their fifth studio album called Freedom Child which was released on 1st September 2017. Their new album with fourteen tracks features a different sound than what is usual for The Script. Straying away from the pop-rock feel, Freedom Child gives a positive and upbeat feeling.
The Script – formed of Danny O’Donoghue, Mark Sheehan and Glen Power – have been around for almost a decade. Their first self-titled album was released in 2008. Their following three albums: Science And Faith, #3 and No Sound Without Silence were released between 2010 and 2014. The Script have since been on a break until returning with Freedom Child.
Talking about some of my personal favourite songs on the album, and how these songs contain some important messages for life in a world full of uncertainty and pressure.
